Fremantle Archives Sales represents a taste of Asia

Singapore, 7 December 2006 - Fremantle Archive Sales, the clip sales division of FremantleMedia, one of the largest international creators and producers of programme brands in the world, today announced it has acquired worldwide representation rights for a raft of Asian titles from Caldecott Productions International (CPI), one of the industry's leading producers of Asian HD documentaries.

Pete Kalhan, Senior Vice President, Fremantle Home Entertainment & Archive Sales, said: "Congratulations to Massimo and the archive sales team for securing this deal. HD programming is a defining market trend and we are delighted to be partnering with CPI to add such a broad range of HD content to our ever-growing portfolio. CPI has a great reputation for producing high quality programmes with a special focus on Asia and we are confident that we will reinforce our global presence in this highly competitive market by adding these titles to our catalogue."

Ong Hee Yah, Managing Director, Caldecott Productions International, commented on the deal: "We are delighted to have Fremantle Archive Sales representing our HD content. Our footage is taken from all corners of Asia and differs from the usual Asian content as we use specialised local directors who use varied styles and angles when they are shooting. We feel that our footage of Asia has wide appeal for the international market and that Fremantle Archive Sales is best suited to represent us."

Documentaries acquired as part of the agreement include: Fagin and Oliver - The Asian Twist, Tribal Sex (Indian and Yunnan), Voiceless Art Series, The Alternative Earth Series and The Skinheads Of Asia.

These newly acquired titles will join Fremantle Archive Sales' ever expanding portfolio, including international hit TV shows such as Jamie's Return To School Dinners, American Idol, The X Factor and DangerMouse.
